’Canes Mentoring ’Canes Virtual Series

During this online flash-mentoring hour, you'll be connected to UM alumni mentors for short, 10-minute chats accessible from any computer or mobile device. No audio or video is required. Contrary to traditional, long-term mentoring, ’Canes Mentoring ’Canes is designed to facilitate convenient one-time networking and mentorship opportunities.

What to expect during the event:

  • Connect with key alumni mentors for one-time, one-on-one, text-based chat.
  • Gain expert advice on growing your network, entrepreneurship, creating your career trajectory, job search, cultivating leadership skills and much more!
  • Strengthen your network by connecting with other students and alumni

Virtual Career Café

Virtual Career Café is a career services event exclusively for UM alumni. During the Virtual Career Café, you’ll have the unique opportunity to connect 1-on-1 with a career professional for short, 10-minute text-based chat accessible from any computer or mobile device. No audio or video is required. During the event, you will be able to gain advice from career professionals to refine your interviewing skills, polish your résumé, create a strategy for your job search or even revamp your LinkedIn profile.
