LGBTQ ’Canes

The LGBTQ ’Canes is a group for LGBTQ and allied alumni of the University of Miami to reminisce about shared experiences at the U, talk about issues that affect the LGBTQ community, network with fellow alumni regionally, and celebrate being ’Canes!

About the Group

Who can join?
All LGBTQ and allied UM alumni are welcome!

Why should I join?
In addition to existing alumni benefits and services, members will be kept informed of opportunities to connect and engage with fellow LGBTQ and allied alumni and assist with initiatives designed to enhance the experience of LGBTQ students at the University!

Is there a cost?
No. Members are encouraged to further the University's mission through annual giving, but your UMAA membership is non-dues based, and your affiliation with the LGBTQ ’Canes is lifelong! #CaneforLife
