Help us roll out the next U license plate design

Tell us what you think

As the U prepares to debut a new license plate next year, we’re adding a fan component as part of our overall selection process. We’re inviting all ’Canes near and far to raise a hand. Let us know which design you like best and enter for a chance to win an alumni prize pack. The new design will be made available to Florida residents in spring 2021!

License Plate

How it works

We started with eight license plate designs and asked that you submit your first-round picks by August 1 and participate in social media games using the hashtags #UMiami and #PrideYourRide.

Now the field has been narrowed to four designs and then it will go down to two on August 15th. Our championship round of voting will close on August 22nd, and the new University of Miami license plate will be unveiled on August 31st.
