Join the ranks of our extraordinary leadership donors

The James W. McLamore Society honors generous donors who make annual cumulative leadership-level contributions of $1,000 or more.

The society is named after James W. McLamore (1926-1996). Best-known as the co-founder of Burger King, McLamore also served as a member of the University’s Board of Trustees for 13 years and chairman for a record 10 years. While on the Board, James raised more than $500 million for the University, transforming the school in many ways.

Gifts to the McLamore Society impact every area of the University of Miami and the University of Miami Health System, and keep his memory alive on campus and in the lives of our students and alumni.
