Teikirisi

teikirisi is a podcast that celebrates and educates on all-things Cuban American—from the Cuban sandwich and Cuban celebrations, to the Cuban American dream, with a bit of history mixed in. Alumna Carmen Rodriguez, B.S.C. ’12, and co-host Fryda Guedes were both born in Cuba and are now living in the U.S.. Rodriguez tells her own immigration story in the series’ second episode.

Alumna and former University of Miami Theatre Arts Department Assistant Professor Jennifer Vellenga, B.F.A. ’91, is on a mission to change perceptions about the viability of careers in the arts and entertainment.
