Climate change is an ever-growing concern facing our planet. This course will help highlight the interaction between the chemical backbone of earth, carbon, and the earth’s oceans as it relates to climate change. It will also aid in assessing the ways that personal lifestyle decisions impact marine environments and offer ways of promoting sustainable and informed choices in our everyday lives concerning environmental issues.

  • Program Length: 3 weeks (estimate), 4.5 contact hours total.
  • Program Format: Online; taped sessions with instructors that allow you to learn at your own pace. Includes video lectures, notes, discussion, and industry resources.
  • Program Level: Intermediate
  • Program Certificate: Participants completing the training with receive a digital UM Certificate of Completion
