Learn the benefits of a plant-based diet!

Plant-Based nutrition is quickly becoming a part of many people’s lives. In this course, we will broadly discuss why the adopting a whole-food, plant-based diet is significant for improving personal health and provide those enrolled with an evidence-based scientific perspective for its efficacy. Students will learn how to incorporate this information into their personal lives to aid in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

  • Program Start Date: January 25, 2021
  • Program Length: 3 weeks (estimate), 4.5 contact hours total
  • Program Format: Online. Taped sessions with instructors allow you to learn at your own pace. Includes video lectures, notes, discussion, and industry resources.
  • Program Level: Intermediate
  • Program Certificate: Participants completing the training with receive a digital UM Certificate of Completion
